This dream cottage, on the edge of the sea, shares the owner's private beach, little bay and old dock for boating and swimming. Moryn is on the Coastal Footpath between Moelfre and Lligwy, one of the most idyllic locations on Anglesey. All the charm and character of the old cottage, which intrigued walkers for years, has been kept by re-using the old stone and new slate and oak to create a stunning holiday home. Even the old cannons have been restored and set in the wall to protect you from pirates!
The original cottage is now one large, airy, open plan room with splendid sea views. Stone walls surround the garden and you can sit on the wall and look straight down into the sea, watch the gulls, see the fish and look for seals and dolphins. The garden catches the evening sun, a heavenly place to enjoy a barbecue or a glass of wine, whilst, watching the world come awake from there in the early morning is an unforgettable experience.
Access to Moryn is via the owner's drive with parking for one car by the cottage and additional space nearby. The bay and beach is two minutes walk across a field and a boat can be left on the beach. There is a barbecue and picnic table and chairs stored in a hut on the beach.
